#31DC2014 31-Day Challenge - Day 10 - Gradient

The first nail design I learned to do was a gradient. I may have seen it online or in a magazine, but it was at the beginning of the "ombre" trend in fashion and I really liked the way the design looked on the nails. So I did what any geek girl does when she needs information—I Googled it. This was the first time I realized what a vast reservoir of information there was online about nail art.

Gradient designs are still some of my favorites. The one I created for today's challenge is a tribute to that first design, which was also done with various shade of blue. The colors I used are:

• Sinful Colors - Rain Storm
• Revlon - Blue Slate
• Sinful Colors - Bright Lucite
• Maybelline Color Show - Onyx Rush
• OPI - Alpine Snow
